We say OM thousands of times a day. Everything we say begins with the first syllable of OM and ends with the last syllable of OM. Everything we say is contained with OM.
 
Begin with
the chanting of  Ommmm
Ommmm! Ommmm! Ommmm!

Sip water 3 times from the right palm with
3 repetitions of this Mantra 

Achmanam

Om shanno deveer abisthtaya
aapo bhavantu peetaye
shanyor abhi-shravantu nah.
(3 times)
Devee swaroop eeshwar pooran abheesht keeje 
yah neer ho sudhaa-mai kalyaan daan deeje 
Nit riddhi siddhi barse it ho sadaa hamaraa 
behtee rahe hridai me sad-dharm prem dhaara 
O All-pervading Mother, Sweet and Divine, 
Be pleased to bless the cravings of my soul
 To reach thy bosom. May this world of mine 
Be filled with peace and bliss from pole to pole. 
Take Water in left palm.

Tato raatr-ya-jaayata tatah samudro arnavah.

Om samudraad arnavaad adhi samvatsaro ajaa-yata.
Aho-raa-traani vida-dhad vishwasya mishato vashee.

Om sooryaa chandra-masau dhaataa Yathaa poorvam akal-payat. 
Divam cha prithiveem Chaanta-rik-sham atho swah.
 He created the days and nights, the vast expanses of water and space and the divisions of time. 
He who is the Supporter,
Protector and Controller of the universe created the sun,
the moon, the earth, space, planets.
May we feel His power and presence everywhere and for all the time
and refrain from committing evil deeds.

Om praachee dig-agnir adhi-patir asito rakshitaa adityaa ishavah.
Tebhyo namo adhipati-bhyo namo rakshi-tribhyo nama ishu-bhyo nama ebhyo astu.
Yo’s maan dweshti yam vayam dwishmas tam wo jambhe dadhmah.
O radiant Lord, we feel Your divine presence in the Eastern direction,
and thank You for all the means of protection. 
All that which is detrimental to my spiritual progress and my happiness, over which I have no control, 
I humbly lay at your feet.

Om dakshinaa dig indro adhi-patis tirash-chi-raajee rakshitaa pitara ishavah. 
Tebhyo namo adhipati-bhyo namo rakshi-tribhyo nama ishu-bhyo nama ebhyo astu. 
Yo’s maan dweshti yam vayam dwishmas tam wo jambhe dadhmah.
O radiant Lord, we feel Your divine presence in the Southern direction,
and thank You for all the means of protection.

over which I have no control, I humbly lay at your feet.

Om prateechee dig varuno adhi-patih pri-daa-koo rakshitaan-na mishavah. 
Tebhyo namo adhipati-bhyo namo rakshi-tribhyo nama ishu-bhyo nama ebhyo astu. 
Yo’s maan dweshti yam vayam dwishmas tam wo jambhe dadhmah.
O radiant Lord, we feel Your divine presence in the Western direction,
and thank You for all the means of protection.

Om udeechee dik somo adhi-patih swajo rakshitaa shanir eshavah. 
Tebhyo namo adhipati-bhyo namo rakshi-tribhyo nama ishu-bhyo nama ebhyo astu. 
Yo’s maan dweshti yam vayam dwishmas tam wo jambhe dadhmah.
O radiant Lord, we feel Your divine presence in the Northern direction,
and thank You for all the means of protection. 
All that which is detrimental to my spiritual progress and my happiness,
over which I have no control, I humbly lay at your feet.

Om dhruvaa dig Vishnu radhi-pathih kal-maasha-greevo raakshitaa vee-ru-dha ishavah. 
Tebhyo namo adhipati-bhyo namo rakshi-tribhyo nama ishu-bhyo nama ebhyo astu. 
Yo’s maan dweshti yam vayam dwishmas tam wo jambhe dadhmah.
O radiant Lord, we feel Your divine presence in lower regions,
and thank You for all the means of protection.

Om oor-dhwaa dig brihas-patir adhi-patih shwi-tro rakshitaa varsha mishavah. 
Tebhyo namo adhipati-bhyo namo rakshi-tribhyo nama ishu-bhyo nama ebhyo astu. 
Yo’s maan dweshti yam vayam dwishmas tam wo jambhe dadhmah.
O radiant Lord, we feel Your divine presence in the Upper regions,
and thank You for all the means of protection.

Om ud-vayam tama-sas pari swah pashyanta ut-taram. 
Devam devatraa sooryam aganma jyotir ut-tamam.
O almighty God, You are the greatest of all that is good.
You are beyond darkness. You are the Illuminator of all that imparts lustre.
We approach Your divine Majesty through truthfulness in thought, word and deed.

Om udut-yam jaatavedasam devam vahanti ketavah. 
Drishe vish-waaya sooryam.
O Lord, You are the Revealer of the true knowledge of the Vedas.
All things great and small, organic and inorganic, the whole universe, the entire creation
serve as signals to lead us on to Your glory.

Om chitram devaanaam ud-agaad aneekam chakshur mitrasya varunasya-agneh. 
Aapraa dyaawaa pri-thi-vee antariksham soorya aatamaa jagatas tasthu-shash cha swaahaa!
May He, Who is the Soul of the whole universe, He who is all pervading,
Who is free from all hatred and attachment,
Who helps the righteous and the noble, reveal His Own Self in our hearts.

Om tat chakshur devahitam purastaach chhukram uch-charat. 
Pashyema sharadah shatam jeevema sharadah shatam 
Shrinu-yaama sharadah shatam pra-bra-vaama sharadah shatam. 
Adeenaah syaama sharadah shatam bhooyash cha sharadah shataat.
The Supreme Being, the Seer of all, the Benefactor of the learned and righteous and
was pious before the creation and is pious during its existence.
May we see His divine vision for a hundred years – the full span of our life.
May we suffer no frailty.
May we live with our sight, hearing, speech, intellect and all other faculties unimpaired,
enjoying freedom for more than a 
hundred years, with perfect health of body,
mind and soul and in true bliss.

Om bhur bhuwah swaha
tat savitur varenyam
bhargo devasya dheemahi.
Dhiyo yo nah pracho-dayaat.
O Soul of Life, the Holy King of kings! 
O God of all the regions, high and low, 
O Lord of Joy, Whose Glory Nature sings, 
Who shapes the earth and lets the mortals grow. 
We seek Thy blessed Feet to meditate 
Upon Thy Glorious Form of Holy Light 
Which drives away the gloom of sins we hate 
And makes the souls of righteous people bright. 
My heart, O Father, meekly prays to Thee 
To win Thy Grace, to make me good and wise, 
And bless my mind with knowledge, full and free 
From dark and vicious thoughts of sins and lies.

Om he eesh-wara dayaa-nidhe bhawat kripa-yaa anena jap-paa-sanaa-di karmanaa. 
Dharma artha kaama mokshaa-naam sadyah siddhir bhawen-nah
O Lord, the Ocean of mercy, may we, by Your grace attain virtue,
wealth, pleasure and liberation by meditation, prayer and  
other such acts as soon as possible.

Om namah sham-bhawaaya cha mayo bhawaaya cha 
Namah shanka-raaya cha mayash-karaaya cha 
Namah shivaaya cha shiva taraaya cha.
He mangalesh shankar, mangal karo hamaaraa 
Paawan prakash paa-e, para-maarth punya dwaaraa 
Parijyaan paya pilaado, awa-dhar a-gaadh daanee 
Teree sharan me aayaa, hai bhakta yah ‘Bhawaanee’
And now I bow to Thee, O God of calm, 
O God of Peace, and Lord of Bliss Divine! 
Thy Grace supplies to burning hearts a balm, 
Thy blessings in my right desires shine!
